Development & Construction

The Real Estate practice group has the knowledge and experience to provide legal services on the development and construction side of commercial real estate projects. From zoning, land use, permitting and entitlement matters, to the drafting and negotiation of various forms of contracts and subcontracts, we are able to move real estate development projects from documentation to construction. We represent both commercial and residential real estate developers as well as general contractors and subcontractors. Our knowledge of the construction phases of real estate development provides our clients with peace of mind as they recognize that we are preparing contracts and subcontracts with an understanding and appreciation of the project budget, schedule, commencement and completion dates, and commitments to tenants for occupancy. In the event of disputes between owners, developers, contractors, subcontractors and other parties, Bernstein-Burkley’s Litigation practice group provides the support and resources necessary to handle claims and, if necessary, to litigate any such disputes.

Contact our team at Bernstein-Burkley today at 412-456-8100 to see how we can assist you in Real Estate Law.
