Bernstein is poised to be the only member to serve as CLLA’s president more than once
Bernstein-Burkley, P.C. Managing Partner, Robert S. Bernstein, has been named president-elect of the Commercial Law League of America (CLLA). In 1995, Bernstein became one of the youngest presidents of the CLLA, second only to the almost 120-year-old organization’s founder, William Sprague. Now Bernstein is poised to make history again by being the only member in more than 120 years to serve as the CLLA’s president more than once.
Due to a the previously nominated president’s inability to serve due to unfortunate medical reasons, the organization needed an experienced member to step in quickly and immediately turned to Robert Bernstein. Bernstein has been a dedicated CLLA member for more than 35 years.
“The CLLA is a valuable resource for attorneys in the bankruptcy field, and I am honored to be selected as the president-elect for such a great organization,” said Bernstein.
