Kirk Burkley was re-elected as Managing Partner & will continue to serve on the Board of Directors for Bernstein-Burkley, P.C. Kirk’s practice is an efficient one-stop-shop for his client’s bankruptcy and restructuring needs. Kirk is certified in Business Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights Law from the American Board of Certification. ABC certification is designed to recognize lawyers who have met discrete, rigorous, and objective certification standards.
Raymond Wendolowski and Kit Pettit will also serve on the board alongside Kirk. Kit has extensive experience in complex commercial real estate and business transactions. Kit routinely serves as an outside general counsel and a trusted advisor providing day-to-day legal services to the firm’s valued clients. Ray’s practice focuses on Creditors’ Rights and collection work. Ray is committed to implementing creative strategies to help clients maximize their recoveries.
Kerri Coriston Sturm has been appointed to the role of Chief Operating Partner. Kerri has been a key member of the firm’s leadership for 7 years as co-leader of the Litigation Practice Group. Kerri’s practice focuses on oil and gas litigation and complex commercial litigation.
Robert Bernstein was appointed to the role of General Counsel, a position he assumes after decades of serving as the firm’s managing partner. Bob practices in the areas of bankruptcy and commercial law and was named a Fellow by the American College of Bankruptcy.
