Meet the team: Alex Bernstein

Posted on October 23, 2012 by Bob Bernstein

Alex Bernstein
Alex Bernstein, Consultant

WHAT IS YOUR NAME?
Alex Bernstein

DO YOU HAVE A NICKNAME, WHAT IS IT?
Alex is pretty short already…

WHAT IS YOUR POSITION IN THE FIRM?
Consultant

HOW LONG HAVE YOU WORKED AT Bernstein-Burkley, P.C.?
This time around, just over a month. But I’ve been ‘working’ with the firm doing odd-jobs since I was about 10. (That makes 12 years…)

ARE YOU MARRIED? HAVE CHILDREN?
No and no.

WHAT IS ONE OF YOUR FAVORITE MEMORIES FROM Bernstein-Burkley, P.C.?
– Firm softball has always been a favorite of mine. It’s nice to spend time with co-workers outside of the office, especially when they can let loose a little.

IF YOU COULD HAVE DINNER WITH ONE FAMOUS PERSON IN HISTORY, AND ONE FAMOUS PERSON ALIVE TODAY, WHO WOULD THEY BE, AND WHY:
I would like to have dinner with Masaharu Morimoto (he’s an Iron Chef) and Jack Benny. That way there would be great food and plenty of laughs.

WHAT DO YOU DO FOR FUN AND RELAXATION?
I climb and ski as much as I can, and watching movies is always something relaxing. When I have the time, travel is what I’d rather do than just about anything else.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE QUOTE OR WORDS TO LIVE BY?
“Never be afraid to try something new. Remember, amateurs built the ark. Professionals built the Titanic.”

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE:

FOOD: Lamb, as rare as they’ll make it.

VACATION SPOT: Northern India

MOVIE: Apocalypse Now

BOOK: ‘Shantaram’

SPORTS FIGURE: Lamarr Woodley
