    Three weeks after the verdict, the excitement in the office is still palpable. Needless to say, the creditors’ committee in this failed Chapter 11 case was pretty pleased with the results of our six-year effort to vindicate the rights of creditors. Clearly, the jury felt the same, awarding not only compensatory damages, but punitive damages, as well. We know there will be appeals (we’ve already been to the Third Circuit twice even before trial!), but in the end, we are hopeful that this will produce a nice return for the creditors. More to come…
