Bernstein-Burkley, P.C. is pleased to welcome Lara E. Shipkovitz back to its team of skilled attorneys. Ms. Shipkovitz rejoins the firm’s growing Bankruptcy and Restructuring practice, where she will concentrate on commercial restructuring, commercial litigation and bankruptcy matters.
Shipkovitz is an attorney with more than six years of experience representing financial institutions, businesses, not-for-profits, corporate debtors and secured and unsecured creditors in commercial, corporate, credit and litigation matters. She has returned to Bernstein-Burkley after spending two years gaining additional experience primarily representing financial institutions in consumer and commercial transactions, as well as not-for-profit organizations.
Prior to joining Bernstein-Burkley, Shipkovitz was a pro bono attorney with the Pittsburgh Refugee and Immigrant Assistance Center, a non-profit organization overseen by the Jewish Family & Children’s Service while working part-time for a Pittsburgh insurance defense and legal malpractice defense law firm.
