Litigation practice partner Jeff Panehal joined Bernstein-Burkley’s Cleveland office after a two- and half-year clerkship in United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. His clerkship was a culmination of a decade of experience spent in litigation practice, honing his ability to identify the critical factual and legal issues upon which every case turns. Jeff uses that experience to advocate for clients and uses his insight into court practice to efficiently achieve successful results.

He Represents:
Jeff has represented clients in a variety of industries and across a broad array of matters, including claims of legal malpractice against a large law firm; creditor’s rights, including foreclosure; employment matters; and contract disputes. He is currently representing a regional bank in its leasing operations, a long-term nursing facility in an adversarial bankruptcy proceeding, and a commercial entity in its breach of contract action.
