Bernstein-Burkley’s Litigation Group Welcomes New Partner, Kerri Coriston Sturm

Bernstein-Burkley is pleased to announce the addition of a new Partner, Kerri Coriston Sturm, to Bernstein-Burkley’s Pittsburgh office. Her practice focuses on high-stakes commercial litigation for plaintiffs and defendants, both at the trial and appellate levels. Kerri has tried and managed cases in state and federal courts across the country involving a variety of claims, including oil and gas disputes, health care, breach of contract, fraud, Uniform Commercial Code matters, breach of warranties, fraudulent conveyances, and business torts. She derives great satisfaction from exceeding her clients’ expectations in terms of the result obtained and the cost of achieving it.

Co-Managing partner Kirk Burkley says that the addition of Kerri to the Litigation Practice Group “is the most recent in a series of steps we are taking to respond to the needs of clients who want access to top, aggressive and efficient litigation talent when those needs arise.” Kerri is the second partner-level litigation lawyer added in the past few months. Partner Travis Knobbe joined the firm in April of this year.

Prior to joining Bernstein-Burkley, Kerri worked for several AmLaw 200 firms and spent several years with a Texas-based energy boutique firm. In 2014 and 2015, the Pittsburgh Business Times recognized Kerri as a Who’s Who in the Pittsburgh Energy Industry.

Bernstein-Burkley is a highly regarded and respected Pittsburgh-based law firm with a national reach in Bankruptcy and Restructuring, Creditors’ Rights, Business and Corporate Transactions, Litigation, Real Estate, and Oil and Gas.
