(PITTSBURGH) September 7, 2017 – Bernstein-Burkley is pleased to announce the addition of a new Partner, John J. Richardson, to its team of skilled attorneys. J.J. joins the firm’s growing Litigation practice, where he will concentrate on commercial litigation.
J.J. is an attorney with more than a decade of experience representing individuals and companies in complex litigation matters. J.J. is well regarded in the areas of commercial litigation, construction and contract litigation, nursing home defense, and employment litigation, amongst others. He has tried cases in various state trial courts in Pennsylvania and participated on trial teams in the Federal District Courts in Pennsylvania and Ohio.

Prior to joining Bernstein-Burkley, J.J. worked for several AmLaw 200 firms and spent several years with a Pittsburgh-based boutique firm. J.J. is incredibly active in the Pittsburgh community. He is currently serving as the President of the Board of Directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Pittsburgh, and as a member of the City of Pittsburgh Zoning Board of Adjustment. J.J. has previously served as a Board Member for Pittsburgh Cares, Pittsburgh Urban Magnet Project, and Pittsburgh’s Next.
